Once again, Israel and the United States have launched an unprovoked attack on a sovereign state, in violation of all international law. Iran has a self-evident right to defend itself by all means available.
The Zionist state and US imperialism have been preparing the coordinated attack on Iran for a long time. The ceasefire after the aggression last summer was never meant to be lasting. This is a continuation of the aggressive war that Israel has long waged in various forms against Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and others.
The attack is an implementation of the Western neo-colonialism that Secretary of State Marco Rubio called for at the recent Munich Security Conference. It is noteworthy that the European Union, the alleged defenders of “international law,” does not utter a word of condemnation. On the contrary, “Foreign Minister” Kaja Kallas promises that the EU naval force in the Red Sea is ready to assist in “keeping the maritime corridor open.”
Crushing Iran has been the dream of Benjamin Netanyahu for decades, because Iran is the last serious obstacle to the Zionists achieving their goal of a Greater Israel. Trump’s ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, recently stated that Israel has a “biblical right” to conquer large parts of the Middle East. With monstrous audacity, the Zionists and imperialists try to present their criminal actions as a handout to the Iranian people. Countless agents from the CIA and Mossad operate in Iran, trying to prepare the ground for a regime change under the leadership of the quisling Reza Pahlavi, son of the hated Shah whom the Iranians threw out in 1979.
Together with the Arab peoples, the proud Iranian people will resist and thwart the diabolical plans of the Zionists.
With their consistent violations of all international law, the UN Charter, and international agreements, the regimes in Tel Aviv and Washington are about to start World War III – if it has not already begun.
We call on the working class and all democratic and progressive forces to mobilize broadly and militantly against aggressive Zionism and imperialism.
